Can I enroll in Ultimate College Prep if I am not a highly recruited or scholarship level player?
Yes. Many of the athletes in our program benefit by finding a college best suited for their ability level. There is a college baseball program available for players of various talent ranges at the NCAA Division I, II, or III level. A number of players merely want to improve their skills before the high school spring season and are undecided about pursuing college sports.
What if it rains on the day of our workout?
On days with inclement weather, players will call our UCP Hotline (914.260.6773) to find out whether the workout will be moved to an indoor facility or re-scheduled.
Can I work on more than one position with in the UCP program?
Yes. Several participants each year are multi-position players who may choose to work on different positional skills on a given day with our specialized instructors.
When did the program start?
Ultimate College Prep began holding workouts in a college baseball showcase setting in 2001. Since then, the program has greatly evolved and implemented various resources, including strength and conditioning, classroom informational meetings, and guest speakers.
Do you provide transportation?
No.
Do active college coaches come to the field?
Yes. NCAA coaches visit to speak and scout our participants. Over the years, many of the players were initially spotted by a college coach at an Ultimate College Prep workout.
